Fees & Payments
✦ Payment are to be made before the commencement of any lessons.
✦ All bookings are confirmed only after 100% payment is made.
✦ Subsequently made on every 3rd/4th lesson unless told otherwise.
E.g. Payment made 2 days before class. Class starts on 4th next payment will be on 25th before the next class (5th lesson).
✦ Non-payment of school fees by the stipulated payment date will result in forfeiting of placement for the following term.
✦ Upon commencement of a term, all fees paid are non-refundable and non-transferrable.
✦ Lessons will be put on hold if the School closed due to contagious diseases or any unforeseen circumstances.
✦ Students must bear all costs of external test fees upon eligibility for participate.
✦ Payment will be made directly to Swim Confidence.
✦ The program fee covers only the lesson and no other use of the facility.
✦ Students are to ensure they attend the selected day & time, should the student not attend with no valid reasons will be deemed to have forfeited the class.
Registration Fee
✦ A one time Registration / Insurance fee of $60 shall be charges for new sign ups. If lesson are stopped for more than 3 months, the $50 fee shall apply again.
Group Lesson
✦ For 4 & more students, it will be considered a group class.
✦ Coaches can postpone the lesson if the number of students does not meet the requirements for that day.
Student’s Placements
✦ All students are sorted accordingly to their age and / or proficiency level. For the purpose to ensure maximum activity is covered per lesson, as well as progress of students. Allowing students to have the best learning and achievement of milestones.
✦ Each proficiency level is in accordance with the different levels described by Swim Confidence.
Change of Class Arrangements
✦ SwimConfidence reserves the rights to make necessary arrangements.
✦ Higher price differences are to be paid by the student. Lower price differences will not be reimbursed or credited by the school.
Make up Lesson (MUL)
✦ MUL cannot be used to substitute payment for or replace a regular class.
✦ MUL are non-transferrable, even amongst siblings.
✦ MUL can only be used by active students
✦ Out of goodwill, SC is willing to arrange make-up classes for your missed lessons
✦ Please note that it will be the parent’s responsibility to arrange & book make-up lessons.
✦ Lateness will not be compensated or make-up.
– A limit of 1 make-up lesson per 4 lessons (1 Month).
– If make-up lessons cannot be arranged, neither alternative form of teaching session nor refund will be given.
✦ The school must be notified of absence at least 1 week in advance or 1 day notice for unwell/sick. If unable to do so, produce a copy of the student’s medical certificate thereafter.
✦ The duration of the make up class will depend on the number size of the make up class- Estimated 30 mins – 45 mins
✦ Students are able to join ongoing group lessons (same proficiency) for make up classes as well.
✦ Availability of slots are on a first come, first serve basis and are not guaranteed
✦ SwimConfidence does not guarantee that the level of the make-up class to be the same as that of the student requesting for make-up
✦ SwimConfidence does not guarantee the same coach for make-up classes
✦ SwimConfidence reserves the right to deny a request for make-up or delay approval of a request at its discretion
✦ May not necessarily be scheduled back-to-back with their original lesson

Missed Lessons
✦ If the school is not notified, the lessons missed will be forfeited and charged.
✦ If you will be away for any part of the term, kindly inform us before we proceed with the payment.
✦ To reserve your slot for the following term, 50% payment is required.
✦ If your class falls on PH and the venue is closed , your lesson fee will be brought forward.
✦ School Holiday – Please kindly inform us in advance.
Relief / Substitute Coaches
✦ If the scheduled swimming coaches unavailable, Swim confidence reserves the right to provide the student / class with a substitute swimming coaches.
Bad Weather Policy
✦ As inclement weather is out of human control, Swim Confidence bear no liability for the cancellation of class or shortening of teaching duration due to such. Swim Confidence does not offer refunds, deferments, or waiver of fees for lessons affected by inclement weather.
– The coach may, in his or her absolute discretion, decide to continue with the class if the rain is light, and there are no reports of thunder or lightning in Singapore.
– Lesson will continue as long as there’s no lightning risk.
– Should there be a lightning or thunder alert, the coach will be conducting dry land activities.
– In determining whether there have been reports of thunder or lightning in Singapore, Swim confidence shall be entitled to take reference from the NEA-MSS Lightning Alert website.
– Should there be rain, it’s the student’s responsibility to contact our admin/instructor at least 1 hour / 30 mins before lesson. However, if the coach is already on their way to the venue, dry land will be conducted and class will resume as soon as the weather clears. If student wishes to cancel the lesson, there will still be a 50% charge.
– Should the weather not clear within 30 minutes, the coach reserves the right to end the lesson.
– Schedule for make-up lessons will be in favour of the instructor’s availability.
– Whether or not the make-up class is scheduled, the missed lesson will be counted.
– Class is considered conducted if at least 15 minutes of class has commenced. Under such circumstances, Swim Confidence will not be obligated to grant any refunds, deferments, or make-up classes. However, the coach will attempt to conduct dry land.
Private lessons
✦ If your class is held at your condo’s pool, you will need to check with the management to see if there is any paperwork that is required.
✦ If there is any deposit required by the condo’s management, the amount will have to be borne by the student.
✦ If there are any parking charges, the student will need to cover that amount.
Non-Transferable or refundable
✦ As we’re selling our service, refunds are generally not given.
✦ All registration and lessons are strictly non-transferable to other people and cannot be refunded or credited under any circumstances.
✦ Given a valid reason, refunds will only be granted at the sole discretion of our company however, not guaranteed.
✦ Once lessons commence, no refunds will be given. This is a strictly enforced policy.
✦ It is the student’s responsibility to understand this refund policy prior to registration for lessons through Swim confidence.
✦ Cancellation of your enrollment will lead to a forfeiture of all unused lessons.
Termination
✦ Two weeks’ notice is required from every student wishing to terminate his/ her lessons.
Request or Change of Coach
✦ SwimConfidence does not guarantee such a request as it is subjected to the coach’s availability or the student’s type of lesson.
✦ The lesson rates might also change should you request for a coach of your choice.
✦ SwimConfidence reserves the rights to assign any coach to students/class.
Freelance Coach
✦ In an event that Swim confidence’s coaches do not have any available time slot to coach the student, we will reach out to other coaches who are qualified and experienced to take the lesson.
✦ Freelance coaches rate, as well as their policies will depend on that particular coach.
✦ SwimConfidence will check each and every freelance coach’s profile before allowing them to take the class.
Diaper Policy
✦ To minimise inconvenience to everyone, any students age 4 and below or not potty trained are required to wear swim diapers. Also, diapers are required to be close fitted to prevent any leakage.
Lost & Found
✦ Students are responsible for their own belongings or swim equipment.
✦ SwimConfidence will not be liable for any missing, loss or damage to personal possessions.
Prolonged sickness
✦ If a student has been diagnosed with an illness or ailment and is expected to be sick for a prolonged period, you should notify us as early as possible.
✦ SwimConfidence will endeavour to offer make-up classes to your child or ward within the same month if possible – this is subject to availability and will be dealt with case by case.
✦ If no makeup classes are available, we may consider other options in our sole discretion, but have no obligation to offer more than two make up classes per term, or any refunds.
Media Release
✦ By attending our lessons, you agree to allow Swimconfidence to utilise all forms of media taken in the pools for our marketing materials. Responsibility.
✦ SwimConfidence shall not be responsible for any claims regarding any injury, damage or loss of life during lesson.
Personal Data Protection Act – PDPA
✦ Personal information collected on our form is for the purpose of course registration, course survey, account servicing and receiving of news & updates on SwimConfidence courses or activities.
✦ SwimConfidence is committed on ensuring the confidentiality of the personal information & undertakes not to reveal applicant’s information to any 3rd parties & program partners without prior consent of the applicant.
✦ If you suspect your data has been compromised, please inform our administrative assistants.
✦ SwimConfidence reserves the right to change the terms & conditions, as it deems necessary, without any advance notification.
